Broaden your knowledge of the diagnosis and management of spine conditions in several important domains: recognize common degenerative spinal pathologies, complication avoidance, current controversial topics, and treatment recommendations for spinal conditions in both elective and non-elective settings.
Educational Objectives
As a result of completing the 2026 Adult Spine Self-Assessment Examination, I am able to:
- Describe the diagnosis and appropriate treatment of adult degenerative spinal disorders.
- Diagnose and treat commonly encountered aspects of spinal trauma.
- Identify critical issues in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal infections.
- Formulate appropriate treatment plans for patients with spinal tumors and metastatic disease.
- Identify factors which can lead to the ineffective treatment of common spinal pathology.
