Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:
• Review the appropriate care and treatment options for common yet often complex fractures and injury patterns
• Apply different algorithms for the evaluation of common traumatic injuries based on diagnostic modalities and treatment options, with an emphasis on current concepts of surgical management
• Identify indications and surgical approaches for anatomic specific fractures
• Discuss contemporary fracture fixation strategies
• Manage post-operative care for the patient with traumatic injuries
