Learn like you were there!

Take a front-row seat at this Academy course, recorded virtually in July 2026: AAOS Course OnDemand: Board Maintenance of Certification Preparation and Review: General Orthopaedic Course.
We are pleased you have chosen AAOS to support your continuing education and board preparation needs through this comprehensive CME program, led by Matthew Wallace, MD, MBA, FAAOS, and Youssra Marjoua, MD.

Designed to support your preparation for board maintenance of certification, this OnDemand program brings expert-led education directly to you. Review essential general orthopaedic concepts, reinforce your knowledge across key topics, and gain valuable insights to support your clinical practice.

You will be able to follow along with faculty presentations and accompanying slides at your own pace. Content is conveniently segmented by topic, allowing you to revisit specific lectures, pick up where you left off, or focus on the areas most relevant to your learning needs—all across your devices.

This course includes recorded lectures, live high yield presentations and supplemental study material to help you prepare for your MOC Exam.
At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:
•    Analyze current clinical, laboratory, and diagnostic imaging studies related to oncology, upper and lower extremity, spine, pediatrics, and trauma conditions.
•    Build a thorough understanding of the foundational knowledge necessary for Maintenance of Certification (MOC).
•    Compare and contrast current operative and non-operative treatment options.
•    Integrate evidence-based orthopaedic research into clinical practice across a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions.
•    Understand the full range of surgical interventions for musculoskeletal disorders, including the indications and contraindications for each.
•    Identify knowledge gaps and create an effective study plan to prepare for the MOC general examination.
•    Recognize key topics covered in the MOC general exam and understand the exam format.

You will have access to this content through November 1, 2028. For assistance, please contact Taylor Scott, Course Specialist, at 847-384-4244 or tscott@aaos.org.
