​AAOS Members that attend this webinar will learn that transformational leadership is a key trait of successful leaders and will often reflect the skillset required to be forward thinking and drive impact at the AAOS. Attendees will learn to challenge assumptions and status quo activities and develop a vision for organizational change that is flexible and nimble.  

​For ALI Level 3 participants, this event fulfills one of five webinar attendance requirements. The goal of the webinar series is to expand on the leadership content shared through the ALI Program and provide participants with a better understanding of the skills needed to succeed as an AAOS volunteer.

​Webinar participants will engage in discussion to further expand their knowledge on the financial foundation and processes at AAOS. While Financial Acumen is an external and universal skill, it also requires internal knowledge of the AAOS’s healthcare association-specific financials and reporting. The information provided in the webinar will help individuals prepare further for a volunteer leader role at the AAOS.
