Description
Wrist arthrosis is common but has a variety of presentations in a diverse range of patients. The chosen technique is often optimized to fit the patient’s demand and expectations. This instructional course is aimed at describing contemporary solutions for wrist arthrosis including wrist denervation, partial and total fusions, proximal row carpectomy with and with interposition, and total wrist arthroplasty.
Learning Objectives
- Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to describe relevant innervation of the wrist and general patterns of arthrosis.
- Upon completion of this course, the participant will have learned about the most common surgical techniques for addressing the variety of patterns of wrist arthrosis.
- Upon completion of this course, the participant will have learned about motion sparing options such as total wrist arthroplasty and interposition arthroplasty.
