Hand Infections are common yet can be devastating. The surgeon must be vigilant about proper surgical and medical treatment. Severe infections with soft tissue and bone compromise are discussed along with mimickers of pyogenic infections.
Learning Objectives
- Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to describe typical, atypical, and mimickers of infections about the hand and upper limb
- Upon completion of this course, the participant will have learned about the most common surgical techniques for addressing infections
- Upon completion of this course, the participant will have learned about treatments of severe infections with bone and soft tissue loss
